Teresa Ribeiro was Deputy Secretary-General for Energy at the Union for the Mediterranean, in Barcelona from 2013 to 2015.
She was also Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal between 2008 and 2009.
Throughout her career, Teresa Ribeiro has held different positions in media and international relations Portuguese institutions, with extensive experience working with the EU.
Teresa Ribeiro was also Administrator at AICEP (Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal), Director-General at the Institute for Communication and Media and Director of International Affairs at the same Institute.
She holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon.
