Ana Mendes Godinho

Ana Mendes Godinho was born in 1972, is married and mother of 3 children.

She holds a Post-Graduation in Labour Law and a Law degree from the Lisbon University (Universidade de Lisboa). 

Before joining the Government as Secretary of State for Tourism between 2015 and 2019, she was Vice-President of the Portuguese National Tourism Authority (Turismo de Portugal), member of the Board of Turismo Capital (venture capital company) and member of the Board of Turismo Fundos (real estate fund company), among other leading positions.

She was also Coordinator of the post graduate degree on Tourism Law at the Lisbon University.

Ana Mendes Godinho is a Labour Inspector and directed the Department for the Support of Inspection Activity at the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
