Duarte Cordeiro was born in 1979 in Lisbon.
Graduated in Economics by ISEG, Lisbon University. Postgraduate in Business Administration, by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon.
Secretary of State Assistant and for Parliamentary Affairs in the first Government of Prime Minister Antonio Costa.
Councillor of Lisbon’s City Council since october 2013, and Vice-Mayor between april 2015 and february 2019, with responsibility in the areas of Economy and Innovation, Smart Cities, Urban Hygiene, Public Space, Markets and Sports.
MP at the XI and XII legislative periods, between october 2009 and october 2013 (Commission of Economy and Finances and Workgroup for the creation of a Law on the fundamentals of Quality, Innovation, Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship).
