Prime Minister travels to Chile

The Prime Minister will be travelling to Chile to attend the International Conference The coup in Chile, 50 years on ("Cincuenta Años del Golpe de Estado 1973 - 2023 – Democracia es memoria y futuro, Encuentro Internacional") to be held in Santiago on 10 and 11 September.

Upon invitation by the President of Chile Gabriel Boric, Prime Minister António Costa will attend the official dinner to open the Conference on 10 September and the next day, he will watch the Official Ceremonies that will be held at the Presidential Palace in La Moneda and the Plaza de la Constituición.

In addition to the ceremonies to commemorate the 50 years of he coup in Chile, during his trip the Prime Minister will meet the Portuguese companies operating in the country and will also meet the Chilean President Gabriel Boric to discuss bilateral relations.
