Pedro Sousa Rodrigues was born in Porto in 1974.
He has a master’s degree in Corporate Science – specialising in Finance (Porto University School of Economics, 2001). Executive MBA – specialising in Organizational Development (Porto Business School, 2016) and a degree in Economics (Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique, 1997).
He attended several additional training courses of which we note the Advanced Studies in Geopolitics course (National Defence Institute and Autónoma de Lisboa University, 2022), Strategic, Geoeconomics and Prospective Analysis Course (National Defence Institute, 2021), Leading in a Global World – Texas Executive Education (McCombs School of Business – The University of Texas at Austin, 2015), National Defence Course (National Defence Institute, 2011).
Adviser to the AICEP Board of Directors, the Portuguese Investment and Foreign Trade Agency, from March 2022 to January 2023.

He began his work experience in 1995 as a Chartered Accountant where he worked in IAPMEI from 1997 to 2003 and API – Portuguese Investment Agency from 2003 to 2007.
