Secretary of State for the Treasury and Finance meets with his Angolan counterpart

Meeting addressed issues of strategic interest in the bilateral cooperation relations with Angola 

The Secretary of State for the Treasury and Finance hosted on Tuesday the Angolan Secretary of State for Finance and the Treasury Ottoniel Lobo Carvalho dos Santos, together with the Secretary of State for Public Investment Ivan Emanuel Marques dos Santos. 

Among other matters, the meeting addressed technical cooperation in public finance and identified areas and themes of strategic interest in the bilateral cooperation relations with Angola.

The Portuguese Secretary of State for the Treasury and Finance João Silva Lopes noted the relevance of increasing the overall amount for the financing of common interest projects to export Portuguese companies’ goods and services and suggested joint work towards diversifying the areas and types of projects covered.
