TAP formally completed the restructuring process, followed by the European institutions since 2021, a step that boosts the Portuguese State’s credibility and shows execution capacity in a particularly discerning process.

“Completing the restructuring process enables TAP to face the future with more confidence, boosting its role as a strategic asset for the country and Portugal’s positioning as an international aviation platform”, stated the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Miguel Pinto Luz.

Closing this process is a relevant milestone for TAP and the Portuguese State. With this step, the airline enters a new stage with greater predictability for growth, valuation, and future development at a time when the privatisation is under way.
