About Economy and Digital Transition

The mission of the Minister of State, the Economy and Digital Transition is to draft, drive, implement and assess the development policies aimed at the growth of the economy, competitiveness, investment and innovation, the international expansion of enterprises, the promotion of industry, trade, services and tourism, consumer protection, and digital transition.

Its mission is likewise to follow the implementation of the inter-ministry measures to carry out the Government’s Programme on digital transition, jointly with the Minister of State and Finance, the Minister of the Modernization of the State and Public Administration, the Minster of Science, Technology and Higher Education, the Minister of Education, the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, the Minster of Infrastructure and Housing, and the Minister of Territorial Cohesion.
